The Brazilian Death Metal quartet Genocidio announces its new drummer: it’s Patrick Leung, who has played for Scars, Chaosfear and owner of a refined technique, which fits perfectly with the proposal of the band.

The former drummer, Fabio M., left the band due to personal reasons, as explains guitarist/singer Murillo L.: "We thank Fabio for the two records written and for the five-year term struggling together, but to play Metal you need something beyond skills: will. And so he ceased to be a while here, as he himself told us. We wish him good luck and we are very pleased to have found an excellent drummer who will bring us new liveliness. We are very excited."

In order to continue the promotion of their latest album "The Clan", the band rehearses with his new line-up, which premiere is scheduled for June 25th, 2011 at Roça'n'Roll festival along with Cathedral in Varginha town, Minas Gerais, Brazil: "I was stuck when I received the invitation to join Genocidio, which made me very honored and motivated to play again in a band with such relevance in the Brazilian Metal scene, "says Patrick.

Still promoting their latest album "The Clan", Brazilian band Genocidio has just released their new music video. The chosen song was the title track of the album and the video, which can be viewed on this link, was shot at Tocatorium studios in São Paulo by Arthur Neto and editing/production was held by Fabio Ratimbum.

Besides band’s performance the video also features scenes of animals in deadly fights, according to singer/guitarist Murillo L.: "We’ve tried to sum up the concept of the album in the video, showing that unlike humans, specifically those ones linked to the mafias, animals only kill for their survival and not for pleasure or personal interests. This only confirms the bad behavior of man towards his fellow man".

In the year of 2011 the band keeps touring to promote "The Clan" and announces that another promo video is already being produced, to be out soon. Keep waiting!
